Radar RF Test Engineer

RF Test Engineer Job Description:
Description: Our client is in need of a qualified test engineer who is capable of performing troubleshooting and test problem resolution in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be familiar with hardware test and any experience with Radar components is a plus. This position is for 2nd or 3rd shift only.


Responsibilities: Candidates must have the ability to perform troubleshooting and test problem resolution. Candidates will be responsible to make minor changes to Test Program Set Hardware and Software. They will review test data for accuracy, measurement trends, and statistical analysis. In addition, candidates will provide test yield analysis and test yield problem resolution. While doing this, candidates will work with design engineers and other functional departments to train and assist test technicians with testing and production test problems. Candidates must be knowledgeable of various test software used for Automated Test Equipment such as LabView and/or LabWindows. This is a long term contract-to-hire opportunity.



Qualifications:

- BSEE

- 3-7 years experience in testing (RF preferred)

- Ability to navigate through Labview or Labwindows Test Software

- Familiar with automated test equipment including: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc

- Must be able to work in a team environment!

- Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance

- Must be open to 2nd and 3rd shift
