JOB SUMMARY

Provides accounting support to the Accounting, Operations, and Development departments within the Worldwide Franchise Division of Couche Tard.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Analyze and interpret vendor contracts to determine correct invoicing of Discount & Rebate funds and manage the renewal process.
Prepare monthly and quarterly invoicing of all rebates – including verifying the accuracy of the invoicing information (ESAS and Coremark/McLane) as well as final calculation of all rebates.
Prepare ad-hoc reports utilizing Discount & Rebate information.
Process payment of Franchise invoices utilizing Oracle financial system; match PO’s as needed; enter all checks in the deposit system.
Maintain accounting controls by following GAAP; maintain financial security by following internal controls.
Ensure compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; or participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
One to two years of accounting experience preferred
Must be proficient in MS Access, Excel and Word
Experience working with accounting applications preferred; Oracle Financial Suite experience a plus.
